Stephen is Head of Regeneration and joint lead on our Transforming Communities sector. He is involved in the national provision of services to organisations and partnerships engaged in physical, social, economic and environmental regeneration activity, with a strong focus on areas with the highest multiple deprivation levels. He has particular expertise in establishing the collaborative framework and associated legal agreements needed for public, private and voluntary sector organisations to work together on major long-term regeneration activity programmes. Examples of Stephen's work includes: a major governance review for a London RSL embarking on a £1bn regeneration programme; overseeing the provision of legal services to New Deal for Communities Partnerships; and the development of the Nehemiah Foundation, which is initiating a series of neighbourhood-based regeneration programmes with cross-sector support.
