  • Nick has extensive experience of all types of commercial dispute resolution including those involving charities and organisations in the not for profit sector
  • He has particular experience of acting for claimants in professional negligence claims against other solicitors, accountants, surveyors and other professionals
  • He has wide experience of using alternative dispute resolution and has represented clients at mediations on a many occasions
  • Nick also advises on regulatory issues, particularly in the social care sector, including representation of regulators in Tribunals and in the Magistrates Courts

Nick also acts and advises on:

  • Banking and Insolvency matters: He acts for a number of the major banks dealing with debt recovery, enforcement of security and actions arising from fraud
  • Contractual disputes, including claims for breach of warranty

Professional Memberships, Publications and Interests:

Nick is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and the Association of Disciplinary and Regulatory Lawyers.

He has delivered seminars on a number of topics including dispute avoidance and management and the workings of the Care Standards Tribunal.

Outside of work Nick is a badminton player and enjoys watching a variety of other sports.
