- She specialises in alcohol, late night refreshment and related entertainment matters under the Licensing Act 2003,and operators, personal and premises licences under the Gambling Act 2005
- She is also involved in investigations and prosecutions commenced by the police, local authorities and regulators in areas such as:
- Underage sales
- Crime and disorder issues
- Food safety
- Weights and measures
- Fire safety
- Breaches of premises licences
- Private Security Industry Act 2001
- Trading standards
- Health and safety
- Noise abatement
- Dangerous dogs
- She continues to act for a number of national chains, entrepreneurs, bookmakers, independent casinos, local authorities, charitable trusts and public bodies throughout England and Wales
- Deborah provides advice and assistance on child protection issues to individuals and agencies working with children and young people.
