Regulatory
In addition to working for a number of Regulatory bodies themselves, our Regulatory team works for organisations across the spectrum of private and public sectors, providing expert advice on the rules that govern the way these organisations operate.
Within this area of work, our Regulatory team can provide a range of services regarding regulatory and enforcement issues relating to:
- health and safety issues;
- food hygiene;
- weights and measures;
- trading standards issues;
- disability discrimination;
- protection of vulnerable adults; and
- child protection issues.
How we can help
The Regulatory team advises and represents clients in court proceedings including criminal prosecutions, before tribunals and also at the coroner’s court.
Our Regulatory team is able to offer advice for organisations on:
- entering into a relationship with a formal regulator for the first time;
- new issues arising within the regulatory framework;
- the effective implementation of regulation within organisations; and
- appropriate systems and responses within a particular regulatory regime.
