Specialist in governance difficulties
Good governance is a determining factor in creating successful organisations, and is much more than just having the right legal structures in place. We combine both legal skills and specialist expertise in coaching and behavioural issues. We also have well-developed relationships with all relevant regulatory authorities including the Tenant Services Authority, the Financial Services Authority, the Charity Commission and the Communities and Local Government department. This complementary mix enables us to provide much broader and more effective advice and solutions surrounding governance difficulties.
We have considerable experience and expertise in facilitating strategic planning, working alongside clients to identify the best way for them to achieve their goals. Our team has acted on numerous group structures and mergers, and has also devised several innovative models of collaborative joint working between social housing providers and other organisations, including non-profit making bodies and commercial sector organisations. These models include procurement clubs such as Fusion 21 and the Matrix Housing Partnership, consortium arrangements and joint ventures.
We have extensive experience in acting on and delivering housing private finance initiatives, and housing stock transfer transactions. Our specialist knowledge and expertise enables us to remain at the cutting edge of new models for providers with two of our most recent stock transfers being based on the Community Gateway Model.
