Construction and Procurement Law

We advise on all aspects of Construction Law, Maintenance and Procurement, from Adjudication to Z clauses, and from contract strategy to commissioning.  Our team is known particularly for partnering contracts and advising on the EU procurement rules.

As well as partnering contracts, such as the NEC suite and PPC2000/TPC2005 contracts, we also advise on the JCT05 and other standard forms.  Our in-house consultant engineer, Ross Hayes, wrote the flow charts for the Term Service Contract and other NEC3 contracts.

Andrew Lancaster, Partner, a CEDR accredited mediator, leads our construction dispute resolution team that:

  • resolves both small and multi-million pound construction disputes;
  • advises local authorities and social housing providers on appropriate dispute resolution, contract termination and reprocurement processes in the light of their governance, public law and other responsibilities; and
  • brings and defends claims involving construction professionals.
