Will the EU procurement rules invalidate your Development Agreement?

Event date: 07 July 2010

When is it?

• 2.00pm – 4.00pm (Registration from 1:30pm)
• 134 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2ES

Who will be there?

• Richard More, Associate, and Osman Hamir, Solicitor, who regularly advise on development and joint venture agreements and procurement strategy
• Directors and Managers of registered providers, local authorities and other contracting authorities

What is it about?

• Following the coming into force of the Public Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2009, implementing the EU Remedies Directive, the consequences of breaching the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 are now potentially more serious than before.
• This session reviews the changes and analyses your development agreements.

Why should I attend?

• You should attend this session if you want to know how under the new Regulations a signed development agreement can be set aside and how to mitigate the risk
• The new Regulations give a challenger 6 months within which to bring a challenge, which if successful you could be faced with having to retender the project.
• The seminar will cover the steps you can take to reduce the challenge period.
• There will be an opportunity to network with other senior managers and experts from our firm so you can learn more about the Regulations and its commercial implications and what to do next
