What is it about?

This is a 'top-level' event for CEOs and Senior Officers of ALMOs. It will be facilitated by Simon Ramshaw, who is well-known within the ALMO sector for his innovative and insightful support for ALMOs up and down the country.

During the afternoon we'll be exploring the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the ALMO movement, including:-

  • the risk of local authorities taking back the management function;
  • the impact of the Brent decision on the Management Agreement;
  • the position of ALMOs in relation to the TSA regulatory regime; and
    maximising the potential of the local authority relationship.

The emphasis will be on sharing thoughts, concerns and ideas in an informal, confidential environment. The outcomes from the afternoon will be encapsulated in a follow-up Briefing Document that will be circulated to all attendees.
