Personal Licences

Licensing of Regulated Entertainment
A premises licence is necessary for the provision of regulated entertainment (with limited exemptions). A premises licence authorises such events as a play, film, indoor sporting event, boxing/wrestling, live music, recorded music, performance of dance or entertainment of a similar kind provided for members of the public for financial gain whether by the premises owner/occupier or hired for such use by others. Individual or outdoor events involving regulated entertainment will need licensing by way of either a Temporary Event Notices (see below) or date specific premises licences. Licensing of Late Night Refreshment
A premises licence is required where hot food and or hot drink are supplied to members of the public between 11.00pm and 5.00am whether for consumption on or off the premises. Our team can assist you with this application.

Club Premises Certificates for Members Clubs

Temporary Event Notices
Authorise the provision of licensable activities (supply of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment) for limited periods on a limited number of occasions in any calendar year for up to 499 people. Events outside of the statutory parameters will require a premises licence. Our team will be happy to advise you in this regard.

Any person acting in the capacity of a door supervisor must be registered with the SIA. An employer and/or individual commits an offence without the requisite registration. Our team can assist in obtaining registration and has considerable experience in the conduct of appeals.
